ABOUT WILDERNESS
Wilderness is a 21-day school that aims to raise up labourers who actively participate in the mission of God with the end in mind, by strengthening the Body of Christ through worship, prayer, intercession, and eschatological discipleship.
WHY WILDERNESS?
The wilderness is much more than barren terrain. It’s also where God reveals His glory, prepares His people, and commissions His messengers. Labourers are forged in the wilderness in the context of community, like John the Baptist, who stood before God in the wilderness and was eventually sent by God. This is parallel to the Antioch Pattern (Acts 13) of ministering to the Lord and being sent out to herald the good news of the coming King and His Kingdom in preparation for the highway back to Jerusalem.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THESE 21 DAYS?
The students will fully immerse themselves in the Antioch Rhythm of Burning Hearts in the context of community. We are intentionally giving students time in the curriculum to "breathe," instead of packing each day full. Beyond engaging with Eschatological Discipleship, Prayer Room Equipping, and Collaborative Missions with our partners, they will learn to manage the empty spaces and time, creating a sustainable routine that can help them assimilate back into everyday life after the school is over.
