Jason Chua
Founder of Burning Hearts
Jason is the founder of Burning Hearts formerly known as House of Prayer Singapore (HOPS) since 2012. His passion is to raise up passionate lovers of God by shaping the culture of prayer in his generation. Jason's call is to be a voice of awakening expressed through rallying and mobilizing young and old to seek the face of God. He desires to see the gospel of the kingdom advance into the hardest and darkest places and is committed to preparing the earth for the Second Coming of Jesus through the works of prayer, preaching, preparing and planting communities of burning hearts until Jesus receives the full reward of His suffering.
Josh Yeoh
Founder of Penang House of Prayer
Josh is the founder of Penang House of Prayer (PenHOP), an interdenominational prayer ministry in Malaysia. He currently lives in Singapore, based at RiverLife Church, while leading Converge, a regional movement of houses of prayer. Josh travels regularly, leading worship and preaching to reveal the Father’s heart, to awaken the Bride to wholehearted love, and to turn the hearts of the generations, one to the other.
He is a songwriter with three worship albums, and deeply loves good coffee and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Jess Shao
Director of Forerunner Leadership Institute in Tainan, Taiwan
(M.Div. Multnomah Biblical Seminary, Portland Oregon) and Alice Shao (B.A. Psychology University of California, Davis) have been in full-time ministry since 1999. They have served as pastors in the context of English Ministries within the Chinese Church in the United States. Jess and his wife, Alice, moved from California to Kansas City in March 2008 along with their children, Abigail, Moses, Josiah and Nehemiah in response to the clear leading of the Lord. In June of 2008 they were appointed to lead the Chinese Ministry at IHOP-KC. They moved to Tainan, Taiwan in 2014 to continue ministry in Asia. Jess currently serves as the director of Forerunner Leadership Institute in Tainan, Taiwan.
Both Jess and Alice share a passion to see Chinese Christians worldwide experience the depths of the Father’s love and to walk in deep partnership with Jesus as His eternal beloved bride. They long to be used of the Lord to prepare the Church for the return of Jesus.
John Kim
Executive Leadership, Acts
John Kim serves on the Executive Leadership Team of ACTS, an international Christian organization committed to equipping young leaders. John travels extensively throughout Asia teaching on leadership in cross-cultural settings. John is married to Joyce and has 3 sons.
James Lee Lacaden
Founder of Vigan House of Prayer
James is a former Burn Intern at Penang House of Prayer in 2013, wherein He encountered God and that changed the course of His life. He has been leading the Vigan House of Prayer in the northern part of the Philippines for 6 years now. His heart’s desire is to love Jesus well and raise a company of forerunners in every Island in the Philippines who will give their lives to prepare the way for Jesus until He returns
Elijah Choi
Leader of International House of Prayer
Elijah Choi’s primary labor is as an intercessor in the context of night and day prayer. He currently serves as the section leader of the International House of Prayer of Kansas City and as faculty of the International House of Prayer University.
